We have recently branched into the fast-growing electric scooter market by stocking the innovative e-Motive range. They're incredibly cheap to run (around 1p per mile and no road tax), and with the latest battery and motor technologies can easily do the job of their petrol cousins. Because they're zero-emissions vehicles, there are benefits to the environment that you'll also feel in your pocket.

An e-motive scooter takes its power from a series of batteries you can charge from your mains supply at home. These batteries drive a new, highly efficient, low-maintenance brushless electric motor. When you twist the throttle, the motor turns the wheels and all you hear is a faint whirr. There’s no need for an exhaust pipe, because there’s no exhaust! That keeps everything clean – the bike, your clothing and the air around you.

We’ve calculated it costs about 1p a mile to run an e-motive scooter, and under normal use the battery should last up to three years before it needs recycling. Electric scooters are not liable for road tax because they don’t produce CO2 gases.
